Summer Interest Group Leader Form - Summer 2025

Thank you for your interest in leading a Summer Interest Group! We are excited to bring back summer interest groups this year and are prayerful about the new connections in our community that will come from these groups.

Forms are due by May 28 so that all groups can be reviewed prior to the June 1st registration launch date. Jeanette may reach out to you with questions regarding your group idea between those 2 dates.

As we anticipate many group ideas, submitting your form early will help keep the group review and approval process running smoothly. We appreciate your help here!

Looking forward to seeing your ideas for groups! Bring on the summer!! ☀️

Keep your name as short as possible. Ex: Runners Club, Summer Picnics, etc.

Timeframe for summer interest groups is June 15 – August 16.
Groups can run as short as 3 weeks to the full 9 weeks and you can define the rhythm of the meetings.
For example: "Every Wednesday Evening for 6 weeks" or "Every other Wednesday" or "June 18, July 2, and July 16"

What day would you like your group to start (within the timeframe of June 15 - Aug 16)

Date

What day would you like your group to end (within the timeframe of June 15 - Aug 16)

Date

Group registration will automatically close once you reach the maximum.
During the sign-up period, if your group reaches the max number and closes, Jeanette will reach out to you if there are folks on the waitlist to see if you might have room to accommodate.

Because of the summer timeframe, please note that you likely will not have full attendance every week - so feel free to set the max number generously, especially if your group is more of a social group than a committed study.

Ex: Share a physical address if meetings will take place in-person and a virtual Zoom link if meetings will be virtual.
If you do not have a paid Zoom account and need the church to setup a virtual link for you, please indicate that below.

What is your group going to be focusing on/doing? What can group members expect? What kind of group members are you hoping to draw? How can you specify that in your description? (ex: this is a running club for beginner to intermediate level runners). Do you prefer attendance at all meetings or is it a more open format?
Your description will help all prospective members determine if this group is a good for them at this time.

Who are you? What might a prospective member want/need to know about you prior to signing up for this group? What relevant knowledge about you might help others feel more comfortable signing up? (e.g., if you are leading a trauma group, please share your professional background in a couple of sentences.)

If you have a co-leader(s), please include their info too!

If you are unable to provide a photo, no worries ! I can use a graphic related to your group's content from Canva for the group cover page.
